Walter E. "Wally" Dulebohn, 63, of Wapakoneta died at 3:35 a.m. Saturday August 31, 2013 at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
He was born on March 4, 1950 in Auglaize County to Charles B. & Viola (Kaeck) Dulebohn who preceded him in death. On September 5, 1981 he married Elaine M. Burris who survives in Wapakoneta.
Survivors also include 2 sons and 2 daughters; Jim (Jess) Dulebohn, Jeremy (Jenny) Dulebohn, Melissa (Mark Daniel) Bartlett all of Wapakoneta, Sherri (Omar Veerjee) Ault of Pickerington, 11 grandchildren Gabby, Austin and Hunter Dulebohn, Zak, Tyler and Colby Dulebohn, Mia and Marshall Bartlett, Lindsay and Benjamin Ault, Aiden Veerjee, 4 sisters Jean (William) Ott, Carolyn (John) Hudnall both of Wapakoneta, Marilyn (Joseph) Garcia of Cridersville, Doris Cottrell of Sarasota, FL, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Dennis and Norman Dulebohn.
Wally was 1968 graduate of Wapakoneta Senior High School. After graduation he spent 6 years in the Army National Guard. He then retired after 41 years of service with the Telephone Service Company in Wapakoneta. He also did tree trimming. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and especially traveling.
Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. Thursday September 5, 2013 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Pastor Dana Bjorlin will be officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta with military rites being performed by the V.F.W. Post #8445. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
