Twylla N. Fuelling, 91, of St. Johns died 3:33 p.m. October 26, 2009 at Wapakoneta Manor.
She was born on July 26, 1918 to William P. and Helen M. (Burke) Sheely in Lima. On July 2, 1938 she married Clarence A. Fuelling who died May 30, 1985.
Ms. Fuelling is survived by a daughter Connie (Jerald) Knotts of Wapakoneta; two granddaughters Melia (Jason) Richards of Charleston SC; and Tracy (Walter) Brewer of West End, NC; one step great granddaughter Madeline Ann Richards, Charleston SC; one sister Marge (Robert) Brandt of Wapakoneta; two sisters in law Rachel Sheely of Houston, TX and Mary Sheely of St. Johns; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters Lily Phillips and Earleen Wells; and two brothers Paul and Richard Sheely.
Ms. Fuelling graduated from Lima South High School in 1936. She worked at Kreseges for five years and then went to work for Westinghouse as a winder, retiring after 30 years of service. She was also a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank the staff of Wapakoneta Manor, Dr. Bryant and Kidney Services for their compassionate care.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services 615 N. Dixie Hwy. Wapakoneta. Pastor Pam Hanlon will be officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Memorial contribution may be directed to the Wapakoneta Manor Activities Fund, St. Johns United Methodist Church, or to St. Johns Volunteer Fire & Rescue Department.
