Tracy L. Millirans

Tracy L. Millirans, 64, of Waynesfield, passed away at 1:46 p.m., Thursday, July 18, 2024 at The Ohio State Ross Heart Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on October 4, 1959 in Akron, to Frank and Beverly (Sielehr) Geiger Roberts.  Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Lima. Tracy married Jay Millirans on June 30, 1979 who survives in Waynesfield.

Survivors also include her daughter, Julia Millirans of Columbus; sister, Kelly Geiger-Thieroff; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sue (Gary) Cline.

Tracy was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Mark Thieroff and Ed (Barb) Millirans; maternal grandparents, Joe and Judy Karson; and mother-in-law, Myra Millirans.

A 1978 graduate of Shawnee/Apollo Career Center, Tracy spent many years working and touching lives at Lima Memorial Health System and The Heart Institute of Northwest Ohio. Tracy had such a caring heart and was dedicated to taking care of children. She was a life-long babysitter and she and Jay served as foster parents for many years. Tracy was a member of Wayne Township EMS and longtime member of Harvest Baptist Church, Wapakoneta.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2024 at Harvest Baptist Church.  Pastor Gary Bragg will officiate.  Family and friends may call from 1:00-5:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Harvest Baptist Church and one hour prior to services Friday.  Tracy’s family invites everyone to wear bright colors, to celebrate Tracy’s vibrant life.

Interment of her cremated remains will take place at a later date in Walnut Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society.
