Tim Coil

Timothy Coil, 74, of Fryburg, passed away in the comfort of his home on October 31, 2024 with his family by his side.

He was born August 5, 1950 in Lima, to John & Irene (Schaub) Coil who preceded him in death.  On January 19, 1974 he married Ruth (DeArmond) Coil and she survives in Fryburg after 50 years of marriage.

Survivors include a son Luke & Judith Coil; 3 grandchildren Lane, Gavyn and Ben and siblings Denny Coil, Ed (Nicole) Coil, Mark (Tenna) Cecil, Pam (Dave) Bullock, Ardenia (Rick) Tracy, and Beth (Renee) Coil.

Tim graduated from Anna High School in 1969 and entered the Marine Corps shortly after.  He spent his entire career at Crown Equipment Corp as a welder and engineer. During his "retirement" years Tim spent the remainder of his life near his family making memories.  He was passionate and took pride in passing down his wisdom to all his boys.  Tim deeply loved his family, his little slice of heaven known as Fryburg, and enjoyed collecting coins and an array of historical memorabilia.

Per Tim’s wishes, the family will have a private burial ceremony.
