Susan D. Henderson, 65, of Jackson Center passed away at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday December 21, 2016 at her residence with her daughters at her side.
She was born in Sidney, OH on March 13, 1951 to Robert & Marguerite (Faulder) Henderson who preceded her in death.
She is survived by three daughters; April (Jason) Platfoot of Jackson Center, Laura (JR) Biederman of Waynesfield, Stephanie (Josh) Carter of Wapakoneta, nine grandchildren Trent, Ian, Elena and Reed Platfoot, Aubrey, Aiden and Addie Biederman, Steele and Isabelle Carter, 3 brothers Robert K. (Marsha) Henderson of Wapakoneta, Richard (Christina) Henderson of Celina and Bruce (Rosie) Henderson of Sidney.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Bryce Biederman.
Susan was a 1969 graduate of Wapakoneta Senior High School. She enjoyed being a floral designer and worked at Honda of Anna for 22 years. She was a member of the New Hampshire Community Church where she was a devout Christian and faithful servant. She enjoyed baking and cooking but, most of all loved spending time with her daughters and grandchildren at family dinners on Sunday nights. She also enjoyed spending time and going to her grandchildren's sporting events.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday December 27, 2016 at New Hampshire Community Church with Pastors Ryan Price and Wynand dewet officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta and one hour prior to the service at the church.
