Steven L. "Steve" King, 59, of Wapakoneta died at 12:35 p.m. Monday October 12, 2015 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born on December 25, 1955 in Lima, OH to James King & Mary K. (Meyers) Reineke. His father is deceased and his mother survives.
Survivors also include two sons; Chad (Joni) King of Wapakoneta, Philip (Monica) King of Columbus, 2 grandchildren Madison and Lucas, a brother Dave (Rhonda) Reineke, 3 sisters Anita Reineke, Tonya Snyder and Tammy (Dennis) Schaub.
He was preceded in death by a step-father Richard "Bud" Reineke, a brother Richard "Richie" Reineke and his grandparents Ora (Mary) King and Francis (Goldie "Susie") Meyers.
Steven was a 1974 graduate of Wapakoneta High School. He was a member of the Eagles #691. He was employed for 15 years at Stamco in New Bremen as a machine wireman and then at Crown as a machinist. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, NASCAR, and football especially the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Funeral services will begin at 6:00 p.m. Thursday October 15, 2015 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Pastor Adrian Sunday will be officiating. Friends may call from 12-2 and 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family for medical expenses.
