Russell J. Hull 78, of Wapakoneta died at 10:53 P.M. on June 1, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born February 1, 1932 in St. Marys, Ohio to William Russell and Mary (Schamp) Hull who preceded him in death. On June 4, 1949 he married Patricia Miller who survives in Wapakoneta.
Mr. Hull had worked as a mason for Suever Construction and retired from Teledyne Ohio Steel. He was a member of Wapak Eagles, Knights of Columbus, and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors also include nine children, Janice (Fred) Kirby, Stephen (Jean) Hull, and Timothy Hull all of Wapakoneta, Russell (Betsy) Hull of Springfield, John (LaRie) Hull of St. Johns, Dr. Thomas (Kathy) Hull of Lima, Tony (Sue) Hull of Casstown, Barbara (Kim Werner) Hull of Bethel Park, PA, Patrick (Jennifer) Hull of Salem WI; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters Linda (Bob) Black and Connie (Larry) McCain.
He was preceded in death by a grandson Russell John Hull and a great-grandson Richard Kirby.
Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled to begin at 9:30 A.M. Saturday June 5, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Patrick L. Sloneker will be officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 Friday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services 615 N. Dixie Hwy., Wapakoneta.
