Rob lived his life selflessly and touched countless lives through his work as Board President of the St John's Lutheran Church and his work with the City of Lima Waste Water Department. He was a member of the Top of Ohio Umpires Association of Bellefontaine, an Assistant Coach of the New Hampshire PigDogs 1993; 1994; 1995, a Defensive Line Coach for the Anna High School Football team and, most recently, a Defensive Line Coach Wapakoneta High School Football.
All of which made him extremely proud. Rob was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends, and proud of the players he coached. Rob always enjoyed sports. If you needed someone to watch the OSU Buckeyes or Detroit Lions play, needed someone to attend a Reds game, or watch Little League - Rob was more than happy to oblige. Rob's genuine good nature was felt by all who were lucky enough to be in his presence. In 1982 he graduated from Wapakoneta Senior High School and went on to get his Nuclear Engineering degree from the University of Cincinnati. He later pursued his Masters in Engineering-Industrial Management at the University of Dayton. He will never be forgotten and is carried in the hearts of all who knew him.
