Robert "Bob" L. Moyler

Robert "Bob" L. Moyler Jr. 60, of Cridersville passed away at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday August 14, 2013 surrounded by his family at Lima Memorial Health System after a short battle with lung cancer.
He was born on February 8, 1953 to Robert L. Moyler Sr. and Frances (Van Over) Moyler. His mother preceded him in death and his father survives in Wapakoneta.
On December 8, 1984 he married Dawn M. Laffin who survives in Cridersville.
Survivors also include two sons; Chad (Chelsea Christian) Laffin of Wapakoneta and Walter Moyler of Cridersville, two daughters Jennifer & Steven Ley of Wapakoneta and Ashley Moyler of Cridersville, 7 grandchildren Logan, Xavier, Jana, Kaitlyn, Kearstyn, Kortney, and Aubrey, two sisters Ren & Dave Omlor of AZ and Melissa & Greg Sharp of Wapakoneta, and a brother Mike & Cheryl Moyler of Wapakoneta.
Robert was a 1971 graduate of Shawnee High School. He worked through the Carpenters Local 372 of Lima and later Millwrights Local 1393 of Toledo, from which he retired. He was a loving man who enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed going to the casino, horse races, working on his Corvette, and finding the humor in any situation.
Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday August 20, 2013 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday and 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the family.
