Raelynn June McDorman was stillborn the early morning of October 4, 2023 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. Raelynn is the beloved daughter of Dylan E. & Janelle R. (Westgerdes) McDorman, who survive in Wapakoneta.
Survivors also include her furry siblings, Zane, Toulouse, and Donald, at home; paternal grandparents, Douglas & Christine McDorman, of Elida; maternal grandparents, Lawrence & Denise Westgerdes, of Celina; paternal great-grandmother, June McDorman, of Elida; maternal great-grandfather, Derl Burger, of St. Marys; and an extended family of aunts and uncles, Amanda & Anthony Kuhn, of Wapakoneta, and their daughter, Kaylee, Travis & Katherine McDorman, of Cridersville, and their children, Addy, Kinlee, Nolan, Carder, and Amelia, and Alissa & Ethan Miller, of Troy, and their son, Isaiah.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her uncle, Brian McDorman; paternal great-grandparents, Wilbur McDorman and Jimmie & Marilyn Carder; and maternal great-grandparents, Raymond & Rita Westgerdes and A. Janette Burger.
Raelynn's family takes comfort in Galatians 1:15, which says, "Before I was born, God chose me, and called me by his marvelous grace." To Raelynn, "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living my baby you'll be" Love always, mommy & daddy.
Private family services will be held and interment will follow in Pike Run Cemetery, Lima. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to be donated in Raelynn's memory. The family has entrusted Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta to handle the arrangements.
