Peggy Stelzer Garcia

Peggy Stelzer Garcia, 83, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 6:49 p.m. April 10, 2023 at Otterbein Cridersville.  She was born on October 23, 1939, in Winchester, KY to Harris & Marjorie (Baker) Adams, who have preceded her in death.  On May 3, 2015, she married Rogerio "Roy" Garcia, who survives in Wapakoneta.

She was a mother to Gerald Keller, of Winchester, KY, Gregory (Loretta) Keller, of Salisbury, NC, Lisa (Danny) Muncie, of Lexington, KY, Marissa Keller, of Chattanooga, TN, Regina (Rodney) Goodman, of Georgetown, KY, Billy Jo (Robert) Canafax, of Winchester, KY, and Sarah Jean (Mark) DeSomme, of Richardson, TX; stepmother of Julie (Ron) Davenport, of Lima; grandmother to 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sister of Barbara Sue Reffit.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Adams and brother, Ernest Adams.

Peggy worked for Kirk NationaLease and had been a bus driver in Winchester, KY.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lima, where she was always volunteering to help.  A proud member of the Red Hat Society, she enjoyed gardening and canning in her free time.

A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the First Baptist Church, Lima.  Pastor Andrew Shields will officiate.  Burial will take place at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Lima.
