Peggy Sue McKenzie 74, of Wapakoneta died at 5:00 a.m. July 2, 2013 at her residence.
She was born on November 1, 1938 in McPherson, Kansas to Zelma & Buck Jones who preceded her in death. On Nov 2, 1956 she married Maxey McKenzie and he survives.
Survivors also include three children Jeff McKenzie, Jenny & Jeff Moon, Janie & Gary Hickfang, a sister Norlene & Bernie Cotterman, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother Bud Jones.
Peggy retired after 25 years of service from St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. She especially enjoyed shopping. She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother and a true friend to many nice people.
Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at Fort Amanda Cemetery.
