Melissa L. Temple, 51, of Wapakoneta died at 6:20 a.m. Friday November 27, 2015 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
She was born in Allen County on July 14, 1964 to Rolland "Rollie" (Martha) Kent & Jane K. Snyder. Her mother preceded her in death and her father survives in Wapakoneta. On December 9, 1994 she married Jack L. Temple Jr. and he survives in Wapakoneta.
Survivors also include 3 children; Amy (Reuben) Patton of Xenia, Lee Hale, Sharon Temple both of Wapakoneta, 5 grandchildren Jaden Newberry, Bentley Hale, Lincoln Patton, Brooke Patton, Jordon McEldowney, 7 brothers and sisters Shelly (Greg) Yoakam, Kim (Rick) Chenowith, Skylar Kent, Eric (Jennifer) Kent, Sharon (Michael) Staton, Amanda (Matt) Lewis, Bobbi (Tom) Bellman and several nieces and nephews.
Melissa was a 1983 graduate of Wapakoneta High School. She enjoyed fishing and shopping. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday December 2, 2015 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Pastor Gary Bragg will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Moulton. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
