Mary Angela Brennan

Mary Angela Brennan, 87, of Cridersville formerly of Wapakoneta, passed away at 1:39 p.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Mercy Health-St. Rita's.

She was born on January 26, 1937 in Cleveland, OH to James & Angela (Cooper) Brennan who preceded her in death.

In 1968 she married Bill R. Propst and he passed away in 1998.  Then on September 14, 2002 she married Donald G. “Don” Garee Sr. and he passed away on August 10, 2022.

Survivors include brother & sister-in-law Francis & Germana Brennan, many extended relatives, step-relatives, and friends.

Mary Angela worked for many years as a bartender at the Chalet Inn.  She was a member of the Wapakoneta Theater Guild and Eagles #691.  She was also an active member with St. Joseph Catholic Church where she served as a greeter.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m., Friday August 30, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Sean Wilson officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to St. Joseph Renovation Fund.

The family has entrusted Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta to handle the arrangements.
