Marjorie Lucille "Marge" Kohlrieser, 90, of Wapakoneta passed away on Wednesday July 6, 2016, from a sudden illness at Kindred Hospital, Lima.
She was born on October 17, 1925, in Wapakoneta, Ohio to John and Verda (Place) Hines who preceded her in death.
On July 19, 1948 she married James George Kohlrieser and he passed away on October 21, 1978.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diana (Frank) DiPaolo of Columbus, sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne (Cheryl) Kohlrieser of Oak Ridge, TN, Mark (Teresa) Kohlrieser of Wapakoneta, six grandchildren: Kurt DiPaolo, Jeff Kohlrieser, Lucas (Lisa) Kohlrieser, Alexa Kohlrieser, Danielle (Kyle) Hoying and Heather Deiters; one great-grandchild Brayden Hoying and a sister-in-law Mary Ann Kohlrieser.
She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Willie and Agnes Hines of Troy, Herb and Midge Hines of Wapakoneta, Rich and Betty Hines of Wapakoneta and a brother-in-law Norbert Kohlrieser of Wapakoneta.
Marge was a graduate of Blume High School. She was a caring homemaker and caretaker of her grandchildren. She loved animals and enjoyed sports, sewing, reading the newspaper, and playing cards.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 11, 2016, at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 615 N. Dixie Highway, Wapakoneta, OH, where friends may call from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2016. Rev. Dr. Kimberly Pope-Seiberling will be officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta, Ohio.
The family would like to sincerely thank the Gardens Assisted Living Center of Wapakoneta, the Critical Care staff at St. Rita's Hospital and the Hospice staff at Kindred Hospital, Lima, for their loving care and concern.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Auglaize County Humane Society or the American Heart Association.
