Marie A. Schellenberg

Marie A. Schellenberg, 65, of Wapakoneta, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024 at her home.  She was born on September 9, 1958 in Wapakoneta, to Charles F. and Dorothy M. (Lauer) Morris who have preceded her in death.

Survivors include her four sons, Chris & Christi Schellenberg, of Wapakoneta, Bo & Jamie Schellenberg, of Wapakoneta, Josh Schellenberg, of Wapakoneta, and Patrick & Megan Schellenberg, of Dayton; former husband and father of her sons, David Schellenberg, of Wapakoneta; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; seven siblings, Cora & Phill Jarrells, Melvin & Diane Morris, James & Sheila Morris, Violet & Rick Pease, Mary Morris, Ina Pratt, and Arno Morris; and an extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A 1976 graduate of Wapak High School, Marie often went with David to the AmVets Post 333, Wapak.  She enjoyed spending time at home, watching Hallmark movies or game shows.  However, her favorite place to be was outside.  She loved fishing and was content just being in her yard, among her flowers and the many trees she planted.  There she was happy to watch for cardinals and hummingbirds, enjoying the sunshine.

Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services.  Pastor Phill Jarrells will officiate.  Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Gutman.  Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
