Marian L. Oatman, 89 died August 4, 2009 at 10:24 P.M. at Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine.
She was born October 13, 1919 to Victor and Gladys (Conner) Shull in Hicksville, Ohio who preceded her in death. She married Norman Moon in 1939 and then married Willis Oatman in 1965; they both also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Oatman was a homemaker and attended Grace Chapel Union Christian Church in Santa Fe. She had been a resident at Blume Alumni Apartments. She especially enjoyed taking photos of family and friends.
She is survived by 2 sons; Jerry (Thelma) Moon of Buckland; D. Lynn (Mary) Moon of Indian Lake; 2 step-sons; Tom Oatman of Chicago and Adam Oatman of Lima; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; and 1 sister Joann Miller of Hicksville.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Vickie Jo Hunt of Wapakoneta; 1 sister, 2 brothers; and 1 great-grandson.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday at 3 P.M. at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 615 N. Dixie Hwy, Wapakoneta. Rev Scott Anderson will be officiating. Friends may call from 1 P.M. until the time of the service. Burial will be at a later date.
