Marcia E. (Werling) Perez

Marcia E. Perez, 65, of Lima, passed away at 2:35 p.m., Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Mercy Health-St. Rita's.  She was born on September 3, 1958 in Lima, to Melvin E. and Eileen M. (Louth) Werling.  Her father survives in Wapakoneta, her mother preceded her in death.

Survivors also include four children, Jason M. Perez, of Wapakoneta, Jennifer M. Perez, of Kalida, Jessica M. Perez, of Lima, and Jacob M. Perez, of Lima; six grandchildren, Kenneth, Selena, Griffon, William, Jazmine, and Marley; brother, Lynn & Sally Werling, of Wapakoneta; sister, Teresa & Sean Silver, of St. Marys; and an extended family of nieces and nephews.

Marcia enjoyed looking through garage sales and local thrift shops.  Although she liked hunting for a deal, Marcia most cherished time spent with family.  From spending time with her parents, to raising her kids and spoiling her grandkids, family was the highlight of her life.  Marcia was always thinking of others and loved to pick up little treats or trinkets for them when she was out.  She also would mend the grandkids' stuffed animals and made them each a special pillow.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2024 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services.  Marcia will then be cremated according to her wishes.
