Lester "Les" Taylor Jr.

Lester "Les" Taylor Jr., 65, of St. Johns, passed away at 7:28 a.m., Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born on June 1, 1958 in St. Marys, OH to Lester and Leah (Goodwin) Taylor Sr. who preceded him in death. On September 29, 1984 he married Diane Hemmert who survives in St. Johns.
Survivors include 2 sons Michael (Natasha) Bradford Bell County, KY, Nathan (Crystal) Bradford of Buckland; 12 grandchildren Mayah, Shaonte, Tieresha, Kyle, Manyell, Quiante, Joscelyn, Joshua, Alexis, Devin, Gage, Taylor; 1 great grandson Cayden; 7 siblings Mardana (Dave) Kachelries, Charlotte (Dale) Henline, John (Kaci) Taylor, Matt (Melinda) Taylor, Russell (Bridget) Taylor, Scott (Barb) Taylor, Tony (Kay) Taylor.
Lester was preceded in death by a son Nicholas Bradford and brother Marvin Taylor.
Les was a 1978 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He was a truck driver for Rising Sun Express, Jackson Center. He loved fishing, camping and watching high school football. He was also an avid New York Jets, Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State fan.
Funeral services will begin at 6:00 p.m., Monday August 7, 2023 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta with Deacon Trent Hole officiating. Family and friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
