Leonard E. "Leo" Hauser 66, of Wapakoneta died at 9:00 Sunday February 24, 2013 at Mt. Carmel St. Ann's Hospital, Westerville after battling cancer.
He was born December 21, 1946 in Los Angeles, CA to Byron A. & Merle V. (Kelly) Hauser who preceded him in death.
He is survived by two daughters and a son; Ellen (Michael) Engle of Wapakoneta, Elaine (Amy) Hauser and Byron A. Hauser both of Columbus, 3 grandchildren Justin, Erin, and Lillian, and 2 brothers Clifford (Christine) Hauser of Tucson, AZ, and Wayne (Roxanne) Hauser of OR.
Leonard was an Industrial Engineer for 40 years for McDonnell-Douglas, Rockwell, and the Lima Tank Plant. After retiring he bar tendered part time. He was a member of the Eagles, Moose, V.F.W., American Legion, Elks, and AmVets. He enjoyed golfing and meeting people and was always very sociable.
Memorial services are scheduled to begin at 3:00 P. M. Friday March 1, 2013 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Per his wishes his ashes will be scattered.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
