Lavera M. Werling

LaVera M. Werling, 86, of Wapakoneta died at 10:11 P.M. July 4, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Werling was born March 22, 1924 in Moulton Township to Ben and Bertha (Hoge) Jauert who preceded her in death. On September 2, 1946 she married Carl Werling who survives.
Survivors also include three children; Dianne (Millard) Carnes of Sidney, Denny (Judy) Werling and Michael (Rose) Werling both of Wapakoneta, 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great- grandchildren, and a sister-in-law Helen Jauert also of Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by three brothers; Vernon, Elmer, and Wilbur Jauert, a sister Leona Egbert, and a great grandson Jesse Doseck.
Mrs. Werling was a homemaker and had worked on their family farm for many years. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Fryburg and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #691. She enjoyed baking, especially pies and cookies and travelling. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday July 8, 2010 at St. John Catholic Church in Fryburg. Rev. Oscar Seger will be officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 Wednesday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services 615 N. Dixie Hwy., Wapakoneta.
