Kay Rolston

Kay Rolston, 72, of Uniopolis, passed away at 10:48 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center.

She was born on March 26, 1950 in Logan County, OH to Harry and Vernis (Harpest) Krites who preceded her in death.  On June 21, 1969 she married Bill Rolston and he survives in Uniopolis.

Survivors include Wayne (Pam) Rolston of Uniopolis, Kathy (Todd) Fisher of Wapakoneta, Kristy Stinebaugh of Uniopolis; 4 grandchildren Dylan Rolston, Lane, Abigail, Keegan Fisher; a brother-in-law Joe Rolston and a sister-in-law Joyce Ewing.

She was preceded in death by a sister Glenna (Charles) Sutton; a sister-in-law Joyce Rolston and a brother-in-law Monte Ewing.

Kay was a 1969 graduate of Wapakoneta High School.  She served for 30 years as an EMT with Uniopolis Volunteer Fire & Rescue and had also managed the restaurant at the Wapakoneta Country Club.  She dearly loved being around her grandchildren and her 4-legged friend, Bullet.

Funeral services will begin at 7:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2022 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta with Matt Green officiating.  Family and friends may visit from 2-4 p.m. and 5 p.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Uniopolis Volunteer Fire & Rescue.
