Katheleen S. Fisher, 88, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 6:55 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born on September 29, 1933 in Fort Loramie, Ohio to Herman and Josephine (Schmidt) Ahrns. On October 4, 1952, she married Arthur E. Fisher.
Survivors include 10 children: Raymond Fisher of Florida, Edward (Mary) Fisher of Wapakoneta, Dwight Fisher of Wapakoneta, Connie (Tim) Owens of St. Marys, Christopher (Kim) Fisher of Kentucky, Aaron (Michelle) Fisher, Anthony (Jennifer) Fisher, Albert (Bethann) Fisher, Alice (Noel) Gonterman, and Becky (Timothy) Puff all of Wapakoneta; 49 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren and 3 sister-in-laws Helen Puthoff, Virginia Beckert, and Clara Langenkamp Kite.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son Karl Fisher; 6 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; five brothers; a sister and multiple in-laws.
Katheleen was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed cooking and baking cookies. She was a devout catholic and was a member St. John Catholic Church, Fryburg. She and her husband enjoyed traveling to bluegrass festivals. She will be remembered for her daily devotion to prayer, being a peacemaker, and being a hardworking woman that always wanted to be around her family.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday February 24, 2022 at St. John Catholic Church, Fryburg with Rev. Jedidiah Tritle officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta.
