Joe Rolston

Joe Rolston, 81, of Uniopolis, passed away at 10:06 p.m., Thursday, July 4, 2024 at Wapak Manor.

Joe was born on December 3, 1942, in Kenton, OH, to the late Lawrence and Joan (Krummery) Rolston. He married the love of his life, Joyce E. Brackney, on November 24, 1966. Joyce preceded him in death on December 30, 2014.

Joe leaves behind two sons, Timothy (Joanna) Rolston of Green Valley, AZ, and Michael (Andrea) Rolston of Waynesfield; three cherished grandchildren, Olivia (Dennis Nolan) Rolston, Colby (Lola Chambers) Rolston, and Owen Rolston; a great-grandson, Dennis Nolan IV; a brother, Bill Rolston; and a sister, Joyce Ewing.

A proud graduate of Buckland High School, Joe went on to serve in the Army National Guard from July 16, 1964, to February 17, 1970. He enjoyed a fulfilling career, retiring from Scot Lad / Roundy's of Lima after 30 years of employment. Joe had a passion for fishing, collecting knives, and traveling across all contiguous 48 states with his beloved wife. He was an active member of the VFW Post 8445 and Amvets Post 333.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Wapakoneta, with Rev. Jonathon Spyker officiating. Family and friends are welcome to visit from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Uniopolis Volunteer Fire & Rescue.
