Jeremy L. Foust

Jeremy Lee Foust, 53, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 5:48 PM, Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Lima Memorial Health System.  He was born on November 4, 1970 in Lima, to Joseph F. and Peggy J. (Byers) Foust, Jr. who preceded him in death.  On May 6, 2006, he married Melissa D. Steinke, who survives in Wapakoneta.

Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth Foust, at home; stepdaughter, Jessica Oen, of Lima; stepson, Nathan Oen, of Wapakoneta; sister, Melissa & Johnny Thomas, of Waynesfield; two brothers, Joseph F. Foust III, of Lima and John & Heather Foust, of Delphos; father-in-law, Dean Steinke; four siblings-in-law, Monica & Ron Rutschilling, of St. Henry, Mitchell Steinke, of Jackson Center, Melanie & Allen Greve, of Botkins, and Mandy Steinke, of Anna; and an extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mary Jane Steinke; and brother-in-law, Michael Steinke.

A 1989 graduate of Lima Senior High School, Jeremy previously worked for GKN, Jackson Center, then as a truck driver for Prarie Farms.  Currently, Jeremy was continuing his driving career with Powell Wrightway.  Jeremy was a member of the American Legion, Post 330, Wapak and St. Joseph Catholic Church.  When not trucking, he enjoyed searching for bargains, especially at the grocery and tinkering in his garage. The family's favorite memories were created on many camping trips.  Jeremy loved sitting in the outdoors, around the campfire, and fishing, a hobby that started as a child with his dad.

A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Michael Willig officiating.  Family and friends may visit from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services.  Memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
