Jennifer M. "Jenny" Hixenbaugh

Jennifer M. “Jenny” Hixenbaugh, 47, of Shawnee Township, passed away at 12:20 a.m. Sunday, May 21, 2017 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
She was born on July 20, 1969 in Lima, OH to Lester E. (Helen) & Grace “Pauline” (Kennedy) Shenk. Her mother preceded her in death and her father and step-mother survive in Lima. On November 28, 1992 she married John E. Hixenbaugh and he survives.
Survivors include three children, Leslie Hixenbaugh, Jacob Hixenbaugh, Josh Hixenbaugh all at home; a brother, Bob (Debbie) Shenk of Wapakoneta; two sisters, Darlene McElroy and Deb (Brett) Kiser both of Wapakoneta and several nieces and nephews.
Jenny was a 1987 graduate of Wapakoneta Senior High School and then attended Bowling Green State University where she graduated with at bachelor’s degree in social work. She and her sisters were co-owners of Moon Florist and previously New Beginnings Decorating. She was a member of Only Believe Ministries, Botkins. She dearly loved being with her children.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Only Believe Ministries, Botkins with Pastor Peter Doseck officiating. Burial will be in Buckland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta.
