Jeffery L. Luma

Jeffery L. Luma, 62, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 10:40 a.m., Thursday, October 13, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on October 23, 1959 in St. Marys, to Cletus M. and Kathleen L. "Kathy" Luma who have preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, James D. Luma.

Survivors include his four children, James Luma, of Yorkshire, Kaitlyn Luma, of Franklin, Lauren Luma, of Yorkshire, Lottie Luma, of Yorkshire; six grandchildren; four siblings, Lori (Tod) Huebner, of Wapakoneta, Steve (Charlene) Luma, of Wapakoneta, Suzie Bachelor, of Oscoda, MI, Chris (Tina) Luma, of Wapakoneta; and many nieces and nephews.

A 1978 graduate of Wapakoneta High School, Jeff proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1980-1986.  For over 25 years, he enjoyed logging numerous miles as a truck driver.  In his free time, Jeff could be found cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Bengals, or watching Nascar.  A member of the Wapakoneta Eagles, Aerie 691, Jeff also loved riding his Harley.

A Celebration of Jeff's Life will begin at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta.  Pastor Bob Sweeney will officiate.  Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services Sunday.  In keeping with Jeff's wishes, a private interment of his cremated remains with military rites by the Wapak VFW will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the National Shingles Foundation.
