Jeanne A. Campbell 56, of Wapakoneta died at 3:23 PM May 19, 2012 at Lima Memorial Health Systems, Lima.
She was born March 20, 1956 in St. Marys to Lester & Leah (Settlage) Kruse. Her mother preceded her in death and her father survives in New Knoxville. On August 28, 1976 she married Rodney Campbell who also survives in Wapakoneta.
Survivors also include a son Ryan (Angela) Campbell; a daughter Heather (Michael J.) Selby both of Wapakoneta; two granddaughters Alyssa & Mya Selby; a mother-in-law Connie Campbell; an aunt Lois Yinger; a sister Patty (David) Mann; a brother Alan (Carol) Kruse; and several nieces and nephews.
Jeanne was a 1974 graduate of New Knoxville High School and was a member of New Knoxville U.C.C. She worked beside her husband of 36 years on their family dairy farm just east of St. Johns where she especially loved her cows. She was a proud supporter of her husband which enabled him to be a firefighter, become a paramedic and currently chief of St. Johns Volunteer Fire and Rescue. She provided her children much love and support and was a proud Grandma and spoiled her grandchildren with love. She also enjoyed vacationing in Tennessee at Pigeon Forge. She was an amazing wife, mother, and grandma and will be forever missed.
Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM Thursday May 24, 2012 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Pastor David Gordon will be officiating and burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be directed to the St. Johns Volunteer Fire and Rescue who she long and faithfully supported.
