Jane A. Smith, 77, of Wapakoneta, passed away on Thursday June 29, 2017 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima
She was born on February 13, 1940 in Cleveland, OH to William J. & Mary (Webster) Scott who preceded her in death. On January 5, 1963 she married Tom A. Smith and he survives in Wapakoneta.
Survivors include three children; Scott (Heather) Smith of Michigan, Roger (Julie) Smith, Jessica Smith both of Wapakoneta, 7 grandchildren, a great-grandchild, a brother William J. (Stephanie) Scott and a sister Bonnie (George) Marker both of Florida.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Keith Andrew Smith.
Jane retired from Auglaize County as a social worker. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
Per her wishes there will be no public visitation or services.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the donor’s choice.
The family has entrusted Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services to handle the arrangements.
