James W. "Jimbo" Kiser, 48, of Wapakoneta died at 5:55 p.m. Friday December 13, 2013 at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima.
He was born on August 28, 1965 in Dayton, OH to John W. & Connie S. (Howard) Kiser. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Wapakoneta.
Survivors include a son; Justin M. L. Kiser, two grandchildren Zoey and Jace Kiser, a brother Michael Kiser of Wapakoneta, close friends Robin, Randy, Ciara, and Amber Garee of Wapakoneta, a sister Patti (John) Saville of CT, and uncle Tom Howard of Dayton, two aunts Patricia Warvel of Brookville, OH and Vicky McGuire of Dayton, OH.
He was preceded in death by an Uncle Michael Howard.
James enjoyed woodworking and making knives. He especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the United States Army from 1984 until 1987. He was a machinist and welder by trade.
Memorial services are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 21, 2013 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Pastor Todd Hoskins will be officiating. Military rites will be performed by the V.F.W. Post #8445. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
