James E. Fisher, 49, of Wapakoneta died at 6:27 a.m. Friday December 6, 2013 at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born November 16, 1964 in Lima to Paul E. & Charlotte Ann (Copeland) Fisher. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Wapakoneta.
He is survived by two sisters and a brother; Kimberly (Jeff) Frazier of New Jersey, Tina (Jeff) Koenig of Pennsylvania, and John (Jodi) Fisher of Wapakoneta, several nieces and nephews Matthew Fisher, Danielle (Corey) Gulley, Michael Fisher, Luke Koenig, Kathryn Frazier, Sarah Koenig and Miranda Allen.
James was a 1984 graduate of Wapakoneta Senior High. He had worked for Swonger's Furniture for 22 years. He was a member of the Wapakoneta Elks and First English Lutheran Church. His hobbies were art, woodworking and collecting antiques. He dearly loved animals especially his cat Karma.
Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m. Monday December 9, 2013 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Pastor Robert Blohm Jr. will be officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Auglaize County Humane Society.
