Jack L. Binkley, 57, of Wapakoneta died at 6:44 p.m. Thursday October 31, 2013 at his home.
He was born October 8, 1956 in Lima to Robert L. Binkley & Rosemary (Binkley) Steinke who preceded him in death.
On December 3, 1974 he married JoAnn Fugatt and she survives in Wapakoneta.
Survivors include a son and daughter; Toby (Tara) Binkley of St. Johns, Season (Scott) Hurley of Tipp City, 5 grandchildren Kaleb, Mackenzie, Michala, Trenton and Spencer, and a brother Bill Binkley of Dayton.
Jack attended Shawnee High School and then joined the United States Air Force in 1975. He was specialized as an Aircraft Structural Maintenance Craftsman for 18 years until he retired in 1993 after the Persian Gulf War. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and golfing. He especially loved his grandchildren. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #330.
Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday November 4, 2013 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta where military rites will be performed by the VFW Post #8445. Pastor Terri Vonderau will be officiating.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
