Harry J. Klima

Harry J. Klima, 79, of Wapakoneta passed away at 2:41 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima.
He was born in Wapakoneta on June 1, 1940 to Frederick & Emma (Hengstler) Klima who preceded him in death. On June 8, 1958 he married Betty J. Sproul and she survives in Wapakoneta.
Survivors include two children Torrie Klima of Wapakoneta, Aaron Klima of Botkins; 2 grandchildren Kyleigh Klima and Skyler Klima both of Virginia Beach, VA; 4 siblings Donna (Roger) Poling of VanWert, Linda Nichols, George Klima and Kenny Klima all of Wapakoneta.
He was preceded in death by a brother Paul F. Klima and two sisters Frieda Snyder and Mary Greves.
Harry had worked for the Fisher Cheese Company and then retired from Airstream. He served as a deacon at the Indian Lake Baptist Church and was a member of Only Believe Ministries, Botkins. He was also a member of the Allen County Archers and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed bow hunting and fishing.
Memorial services will begin at 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2019 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta with Pastor Kylan Booser officiating. Family and friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Only Believe Ministries or Putnam County Hospice.
