Geneva Mae Opperman

Geneva Mae Opperman, 86, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 5:04 a.m., Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Mercy Health-St. Rita's.
She was born on November 12, 1935 in Harrod, OH to Everett and Chrystal (Spencer) Neeley who preceded her in death. On September 22, 1956 she married John O. Opperman and he survives in Wapakoneta.
Survivors include 4 sons Randy (Donna) Opperman of Lima, Kevin (Kim) Opperman of Sarasota, FL, Craig (Judy) Opperman of Wapakoneta, Johnny (Cheryl) Opperman of Celina; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; siblings Maxine (Amos) Hackworth, Patricia Lhamon, Christina Bucher and Jim Neeley.
Geneva was preceded in death by siblings Wilbur Dean Neeley and Larry Neeley.
Geneva was a housewife and a homemaker and actively attended Wapakoneta Church of the Nazarene.
Memorial services will begin at 5:30 p.m., Monday, February 21 at Wapakoneta Church of the Nazarene, 401 Court St., Wapakoneta with Rev. Stephen Ambrose officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Resthaven Cemetery, Moulton.
Family and friends may visit from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at Wapakoneta Church of the Nazarene.
