G. Imogene "Jean" Schlosser, 89, of Shawnee died at 12:57 a.m. Friday April 3, 2015 at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima.
She was born on July 2, 1925 in Bluffton, OH to Emmit Art & Ida Margaret (Irvin) Vandemark who preceded her in death. On March 2, 1946 she married Gene F. "Jack" Schlosser who passed away on September 7, 1982.
Survivors also include two sons; Jack (Peg) Schlosser of Uniopolis, Fred (Diane) Schlosser of Wapakoneta, four grandchildren Craig (Heather) Schlosser of Waynesfield, Mark (Diane) Schlosser, Brian (Jenn) Schlosser, Debbie (FiancAC. Scott Manger) Schlosser all of Wapakoneta, seven great-grandchildren Brylee, Brooklyn, Noah, Jacob, Johnathon, Brody, Jill, a sister Vida Preston of Dola, OH and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters; Venna Schaller, Ethel Frankhauser, Frieda Kindle and four brothers Ellis, Irvin, Myron and Milford "Pete" Vandemark.
Jean was a homemaker and member of First Evangelical and Reformed Church, Lima.
She enjoyed cooking and especially spending time with her family.
Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday April 7, 2015 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Rev. Dottie Kaiser will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Uniopolis or St. Johns Volunteer Fire Departments.
