Eileen E. Schultz, 82, of Wapakoneta, passed away at  8:55 p.m., Friday, May 27, 2022 at Odem at Auglaize.  She was born on June 26, 1939 in Danville, IN to J. Delmar and Frances C. (Miller) Keysor, who have preceded her in death.  On June 26, 1959, she married Wayne E. Schultz, who passed away on September 11, 2013.

Survivors include her five children, Vicky & Dan Hemmert, of St. Johns, and Sherry & Bill Moon, Terry & Shelley Schultz, Bobbi & Eric Howell, and Andy & Chrissy Schultz, all of Wapakoneta; 25 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Betty Ferrand, Susan Meier, Becky & Matt Maxon, and Laura Greenbaum; and many nieces and nephews.

Eileen was preceded in death by brother, Ted Keysor; and two sisters, Donna Holtzapple and Kathy Fry.

A 1957 graduate of Buckland High School, Eileen had worked for Pantry Pride, Wapak and as a secretary for Borden's Dairy, Findlay, before retiring from Stolly Insurance, Lakeview.  She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Wapak, and loved volunteering at the Polls on Election Day.  A true people person, she loved traveling, especially taking cruises, with her husband.  After retirement she loved spending time at their camper in Glacier Hill Lakes and reading.  An avid crocheter, each of her grandchildren were gifted a handmade blanket.  Eileen also enjoyed spending many hours tending to her flower, fruit and vegetable gardens.

A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta.  Pastor Lynda Lockwood will officiate.  Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services Thursday.  Entombment of her cremated remains will take place in Fairmount Cemetery, Uniopolis, at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Salem United Methodist Church or St. Johns Volunteer Fire & Rescue.
