Edward F. Reynolds, 68, passed away at 5:01 p.m. Monday March 28, 2016 at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima surrounded by his family.
He was born on October 2, 1947 in Celina to Harrison E. & Millie E. Byrley Reynolds, who have preceded him in death. On July 18, 1980, he married Hattie B. Sidey, who survives in Wapakoneta.
Edward proudly served our country for nine years in the United States Army, completing three tours of duty during the Vietnam Conflict. For his service, he was awarded the Bronze Star. On June 14, 2011, he retired from American Trim, after 28 years of service. Ed was a Lifetime Member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 8445, Wapakoneta. For twenty years he worked as a bartender there, and served with the post's Color & Honor Guard. He served as the Post 8445 Commander for seven years, and the District 2 Commander for one year.
