Edward J. "John" Hut

Edward J. "John" Hut 65, of Wapakoneta & Ft. Myers, FL died at 1:20 A.M. Friday February 15, 2013 at St. Rita's Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born July 17, 1947 in Wapakoneta to Phillip & Pearl (Hale) Hut who preceded him in death.
On August 30, 1973 he married Andrea Ryan and she survives in Wapakoneta.
Survivors also include a son; Guy & Holly Hut, a daughter Danielle & Ralph Oen both of Wapakoneta, three grandchildren Zane and Slade Oen & Ridge Hut all of Wapakoneta, 3 sisters and a brother Ruth Ann (Bob) Wells, Joyce Victor, Larry Hut, & Stella (Dave) Gossard.
He was preceded in death by a brother Phillip Hut.
John was a second generation house builder following in his father's footsteps and passing it on to his son. He was a member of Carpenters Union #372. He was known for his extreme work ethics. His grandchildren always referred to him as "Pops" which was his nickname that many knew him by. He enjoyed playing poker with his friends and was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed spending the winter months down in Florida on the water. He was always very sociable and outgoing.
There will be no public visitation or services.
