Dorothy L. Krisher

Dorothy L. Krisher, 90, Wapakoneta, passed away at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima.
She was born in Clay Township, Auglaize County on July 10, 1927 to Vernon & Fern (Price) Bowman who preceded her in death.
On November 2, 1946 she married Robert Krisher Sr. and he passed away on July 24, 2008.
Survivors include two children, Robert (Diane) Krisher Jr., of Spencerville, Pamela Ryan of Elida; four grandchildren, Adrianna Beckett, Alyssa (Michael) Lipaj, Justin (Lindsey) Ryan, Nathan (Crystal) Ryan; four great-grandchildren, Bo and Jessi Beckett, Caiden Ryan and Liam Ryan.
She was preceded in death by a daughter Deborah Krisher and a brother Harold Bowman.
Dorothy assisted her husband in their farming operation until they retired. She was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Her hobbies included, reading, coloring beautiful artwork pieces which were displayed at The Gardens of Wapakoneta where she was a resident for many years and working on puzzles.
Private family graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire with Pastor Debbie Nance officiating.
The family would like to thank The Gardens for their many years of care and the Putnam County Hospice for all their support during her final days.
