Dorothy Dickman

Dorothy L. Dickman, 77, of St. Marys, formerly of Wapakoneta, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Mercy Health-St. Rita's.

She was born on February 14, 1947 in Lima, OH to Robert & Grace Irene (Boyer) Haller who preceded her in death. On July 19, 1969 she married Gary L. Dickman and he passed away on April 20, 2017.

Survivors include 2 children: John (Angie) Dickman, Plain City, Debbie (Dale) Wittenbrink, New Bremen; 7 grandchildren: Abigail, Matthew, Seth, Emma, Caleb, Tobiah & Isaiah; a brother Steven (Marilyn) Haller and a sister Nancy Jordan.

Dorothy was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Haller, and sisters Chris Zofkie and Janice Haller.

Dorothy was a 1965 graduate of Bath High School and worked at Lima Telephone Company. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church. She enjoyed reading, playing games, and most of all, spending time with her family.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025 at First English Lutheran Church, Wapakoneta with Rev. Steve Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at church. Please use the Mechanic St. entrance at church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Loaves and Fishes.
