Dennis D. "Denny" Lhamon, 56, of St. Marys died at 6:20 a.m. Thursday April 10, 2014 at his residence.
He was born on September 4, 1957 in St. Marys, OH to Doyle M. & Doris M. (Howell) Lhamon who preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters; Melinda (Nick Oliver) Lhamon of SC and Lianna Lhamon of OR, three sisters Sandra (Jeff) Mitchell of Wapakoneta, Virginia Flayhart of AZ and Christine (Nolan) Fisher of St. Paris, Best Friend Teresa Sabo of Wapakoneta, two aunts Norma Lhamon of St. Marys and Ruth Loegel of GA and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Denny was a 1975 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He was a lifelong farmer and mechanic who work for 23 years the Auglaize County Highway Department. He always had a positive attitude and looked for the best in everyone. He also enjoyed telling jokes and putting a smile on everyone's face.
Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday April 14, 2014 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Chaplain Herb Wilker will be officiating. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Grand Lake Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
