Dave J. Stahler, 59, of Wapakoneta passed away at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday August 23, 2016 at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima.
He was born on May 16, 1957 in Lima, OH to Don (Cheryl) Stahler & Bette J. (Todd) Irick. His mother preceded him in death on October 25, 2008. His father, step-mother and step-father survive in Wapakoneta.
Survivors include a brother, Doug (Kelly) Stahler of Wapakoneta, a sister Stephanie (Zach) Jackson of Union, KY, a step-brother Bryan (Alison) Dupes, a step-sister Jolynda (Kevin) Myers both of Wapakoneta, several nieces and nephews Landan, Lance Stahler and Emilee, Lindsey Jackson.
Dave was a 1975 graduate of Spencerville High School. After graduation he attended broadcasting school. He worked at Copeland Corporation and Stahler Trucking as the secretary, treasurer and part owner. He also owned City Side for 17 years. He enjoyed socializing, traveling and reviewing musical talents. He had many good friends who he was loved and admired by, but most of all he loved his family.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Saturday August 27, 2016 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Pastor Ron Boyer will be officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Community Health Professionals.
