Christine E. Shock

Christine E. Shock, 64, of Wapakoneta, passed away at 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Lima Memorial Health System.  She was born on November 7, 1959 in Lima to Norma L. (Caudill) Immel, who has preceded her in death.  On October 8, 1998, she married Robert J. "BJ" Shock Jr., who survives in Wapakoneta.

Survivors also include her four children, Tonya Childers, Jeff (Liza) Edwards, Tabitha (Brock) Bailey, and JR (Kelsey) Pangle; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four siblings, Larry "Jay" (Barb) McMinn, Marilee McMinn, Pam (Paul) Custer, and Sheri (Greg) Dawson; an extended family of nieces and nephews; and her feline companions, whom she doted on dearly.

She was preceded in death by two children, Dana Manges and Cody Shreves; and a grandson, Jared Jerome Michael Shreves.

Christine attended Spencerville High School. She found great enjoyment in tending to her flowers and could always be counted on for gardening advice.  While outside, Christine loved taking small moments to watch the butterflies and hummingbirds in her backyard oasis.  When the weather was not nice enough to be outside, she loved keeping her hands busy creating crafts with all different types of mediums.  From jewelry making to painting, she enjoyed setting up at craft shows showcasing her creativity.  Traveling gave Christine time away and also served as inspiration for her photographs, as she documented everything from nature to old barns.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
