Carolyn L. Harshbarger

Carolyn L. Harshbarger, 74, of Wapakoneta left this world to be with Jesus in Heaven on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

She was born on September 5, 1947 in Fremont, OH to Alvin Andrew and Lovamae (Baumgartner) Artman who preceded her in death.  On March 30, 1968 and again on March 30, 1988 she was married to Michael Harshbarger who survives in Wapakoneta.

Survivors include four children Amy (Chris) Goedde of Lima, Richard Andrew Harshbarger of Lima, Matthew (Brandy) Harshbarger of Wapakoneta, Stephen Harshbarger of Tipp City; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings John Artman of Colorado Springs, James (Patti) Artman of Wapakoneta and Alice Perritt of Columbia, SC.

Carolyn was a 1965 graduate of St. Joseph High School, 1983 graduate of Rhodes State College with an A.A.B. in Accounting and a 1995 graduate of Bluffton University with a B.A. in Organizational Management.  Carolyn spent most of her career in the accounting world, having worked for Westinghouse, West Ohio Gas, Waste Management and Hobart.  She maintained a tax practice for more than 30 years and served on the advisory board of Rhodes State College for more than 20 years.

Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2022 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta with Pastor Ron Boyer officiating.  Family and friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
