Bradley W. Zerkel, 47, of Bay City, MI formerly of Wapakoneta died on August 20, 2016 in Bay City, MI.
He was born on December 8, 1968 in Lima, OH to Marla J. (Kline) Zerkel who survives in Wapakoneta. His father Howard W. "Bill" Zerkel Jr. preceded him in death in 1991.
Brad was a 1987 graduate of Wapakoneta High School and participated in the football and track teams for four years.
He was a 1991 graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Psychology and a 1992 graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.
He was employed at Shepherd and Son Funeral Home in Hendersonville, NC and Catawba Funeral Home in Hickory, NC until 1996. For the past 20 years he was employed at Trahan Funeral Chapel in Bay City, MI.
n 1995, Brad was married to Debra Dishaw and is also survived by a daughter Haley Brienne Zerkel, a son Landon Joshua Zerkel all of Bay City, MI, a sister Roberta (Brian ) Donovan and their children Derek and Colton, two brothers Ryan (Susan) Zerkel and their children, Brittany, Mackenzie and Chase; and Andrew Zerkel.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Howard Zerkel, Sr. and maternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth Kline.
