Bobby R. Wilson

Bobby R. Wilson, 70, of Wapakoneta died at 9:52 P.M. Wednesday September 29, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Wilson was born July 5, 1940 to Paul J. & Elsie M. (Barker) Wilson in Henry County, Virginia who preceded him in death. On December 19, 1961 he married Arlene K. Edmiston who survives.
Survivors also include 5 children; Tonya (Dale) Hulsmeyer, of Wapakoneta, Craig Wilson, of Charleston, S.C., Kevin Wilson of Elida, Brad Wilson of Kettlersville, and Michele (Maurice) Pharr, of Wapakoneta; 9 grandchildren Alicia (Nick) Riethman, Isaac Hulsmeyer, Cole, Renee, Brittney, & Joseph Wilson, and Reign, Michael, and Aiyana Pharr; one great-grandchild Mitchell Riethman; one sister Doris (George Lee) Martin; and a brother Carroll (Doris) Wilson.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Mr. Wilson had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He managed his own trucking company and worked for Brookside Trucking in Maria Stein. He also worked for Auglaize Farmers for 15 years. He was a member of the Lima Community Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially trees and flowers.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 A.M. Monday October 4, 2010 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services 615 N. Dixie Hwy., Wapakoneta. Pastor Jim Mason will be officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lima where military rites will be performed by the V.F.W. Post 8445. Friends may call from 1-5 Sunday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
