Bill D. Brown, 57, of Wapakoneta, died Sunday evening January 24, 2010 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
He was born April 28, 1952 in Celina, OH to Clarence R. Brown who survives in Okeechobee, FL and Lois Ann (Reineke) Brown who survives in Wapakoneta.
Mr. Brown is survived by a special friend Becky Brown of Wapakoneta; and her 3 sons; Andrew Obenour, James Hunt, and Daniel Brown; 2 sisters Debra (Brody) Osborne of Wapakoneta and Kim Richard of New Bremen; 2 nephews Jason (Jill) Cummings and Dustin (Alicia) Lensch; two nieces Jessica (Tracy) Margraves and Jamie (Troy Wood) Thompson all of Wapakoneta.
Bill was greeted in heaven by his sister Denise Marie Brown.
Mr. Brown was a 1971 graduate of Wapakoneta Senior High. After graduation he served in the Marines. He also attended Wright State University and had worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton. He enjoyed reading and was an avid fisherman. He especially enjoyed spending time with his two Great Danes "Harley" & "Goober."
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday January 27, 2010 at 5 p.m. at Schlosser Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Wapakoneta. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. The Rev. Mark Bauer will be officiating. Military rites will be performed by the V.F.W. Post #8445 after the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Condolences may be expressed at www.schlosserfuneralhome.com
