Beulah M. Stinebaugh, 89, died 7:15 PM Monday, May 11, 2009 at The Gardens of Wapakoneta.
She was born in 1920 in St. Johns, Ohio. On December 14, 1939, she married William (Bill) Stinebaugh who died June 26, 2006.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol (Roy) Johnsen, of Wapakoneta, and Lois (Bob) Suhay, of North Olmsted, OH; two grandchildren, Michael W. (Debra) Suhay and Julie (Major Mike) McTigue; three great-grandchildren Nathan, Jacob, and Avery; a brother Jim of Cabot, Arkansas; a niece Amy Bubp and nephew Kevin Wendel both of St. Marys and numerous other nieces and nephews. Her family members were especially helpful to Beulah during her residency at The Gardens of Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Adrian and Dallas and three sisters Vivian Laughman, Mary Wendel, and Doris Cooper.
Beulah spent most of her life in St. Marys but, Wapakoneta felt like home since she graduated from Blume High School and she and Bill had many lifetime friends here. The last nine years of her life were in Wapakoneta. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Wapakoneta and the Hawthorne Chapter of Eastern Star. She was active in the Girl Scouts and the Parent Teachers Association in St. Marys. She was a very skilled seamstress, enjoyed working in their yard with Bill, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 3 PM Thursday May 14 at the Schlosser Funeral Home and Cremation Services 615 N. Dixie Hwy. Wapakoneta. The Revs. R.J. Davis and Wayne Lee will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita's Hospice, American Cancer Association, American Heart Association, or the Alzheimer's Research Association.
