Betty J. Kantner, 72, of Wapakoneta passed away at 8:04 a.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at her residence.
She was born on September 16, 1951 in Lima, OH to Bill & Fannie (Bryant) Green who preceded her in death. On September 18, 1971 she married Dean Kantner and he survives.
They have 2 children Connie (Chris) Case, Scott (Thia) Kantner; 6 grandchildren; 4 sisters Marcia Cotterman of Lima, Linda (Steve) McGuffey of DeGraff, Sandy (Toby) Casel of Cridersville, Kim Hunter of Cridersville; a brother Doug Green of Lima.
She was preceded in death by a sister Peggy Keith; brother Bill Green and a brother-in-law Dennis Hunter.
Betty graduated from Perry High School and had worked as a nurse’s aide. She loved to read, watch game shows and spend time with her grandchildren.
Private family services will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta with Pastor Phill Jarrells officiating.
