Barbara Faurot Goodwin, 74, of Wapakoneta died at 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 22, 2014 at her residence.
She was born on November 9, 1939 to Elwood & Mary (Collins) Decker. At age two she was adopted by Irvin & Lavon Faurot who all preceded her in death.
Survivors include; Kathy Goodwin of Marysville, David (Michele) Goodwin of Delphos, Dennis (Robin) Goodwin and Stephen Nichols both of Lima, 7 grandchildren Daniel (Renae) Goodwin, Sean (Holly) Goodwin, Andrew Goodwin, Samuel Smith, Tiffany Goodwin, Eli Goodwin and Luke Taschler, 5 great-grandchildren Aiden & Autumn Goodwin, Olivia Goodwin and Isabel & Natalie Goodwin, 2 sisters Betty Britt and Mary Isaacson and 2 sister in laws Betty McLaughlin and Mary Strathearn.
She was preceded in death by Kathy Lumpkins, Thelma Brown, Dorothy Myers, Ike McLaughlin, Ann Decker, Richard Strathearn and Robert Faurot.
Barbara owned and operated a business in Lima for some years and an Antique Shoppe in Santa Ysabel, CA, where she worked with vintage fabrics and laces supplying numerous gift shoppes in California creating hand sewn unique treasures.
Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday March 26, 2014 at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Pastor Mark Tisch will be officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
